I am a realtor who has used podcasting four a couple of years. i think the application is limited. I reach a broader audience with text and pictures. I have also discovered that not all agents sound like radio talk show hosts so some of the podcasts I have hears are really bad. Podcasting isn't new, but it seems like the real estate industry is discovering it. I will be interested to see it in action.

I have never tried to do a podcast. I might have to do it, because it would be a great way to list a home on my blog.
